Billy McComiskey
, a highly regarded player/composer of Irish traditional music, is a Brooklyn native who picked up the button accordion at age 6, inspired by his uncle's playing. At 15 he was taken under the wing of the legendary Sean McGlynn. He is a master of the East Galway style that characterizes the playing of many of New York 's best Irish accordionists. He has recorded with the Irish Tradition, Trian, and as a soloist. His compositional skills and 1986 All-Ireland championship attest to his mastery of the button accordion.

Laura Byrne
began playing the flute at age 9 and in the mid-90s started playing Irish music. In 1999, she won the U.S. Eastern Fleadh Championship. Laura has taught at the Swannanoa Gathering in Asheville , NC , and the Catskills Irish Arts Week in East Durham , NY , and has performed at festivals across the USA and Ireland . She plays frequently with the Baltimore Ceili Band and is currently working on a solo CD.

Peter Fitzgerald
, from Navan, Co. Meath, is a mainstay in the Baltimore Irish music scene. A highly respected banjo teacher, longevity is his hallmark as he has anchored a long running ceili series at the Emerald Isle in Maryland and the Thursday night session at the famed J. Patrick's Pub in Baltimore , for many years. He keeps the Irish banjo tradition going through his own expert instruction. Peter has appeared as a guest on many recordings and is currently working on one of his own.

Pat Egan's
guitar style is unique in that he is one of the few guitarists in Irish music who adhere to standard tuning as opposed to the ubiquitous DADGAD. His approach will be of great interest to the overwhelming body of guitarists, as well as those familiar with alternate tunings. His exciting rhythmic drive on the right hand, coupled with his compelling lyrical moves on the left hand, will open new doors for aspiring guitarists as well as more advanced players.

Myron Bretholz plays a pivotal role in fostering Irish music up & down the Northeast U.S. from his base in the Washington D.C area. He has inspired the Irish music community with his knowledge & repertoire for over 20 years. An equally important asset is his sense of humor, which along with his mastery of the bodhran makes him a much-desired accompanist at any Irish musical gathering.
