A lively blend of instrumentals and vocals in the traditional Irish idiom has helped this band evolve into the busiest touring act on the traditional music scene. Téada captures the intricicies of a traditional artform in a contemporary band context.

Oisin MacDiarmada
- Sligo fiddler Oisin MacDiarmada,
at 26 years of age, is an honours graduate in Music
Education at Trinity College, Dublin. Oisin is respected
internationally as a fiddle teacher and for his journalism,
lecturing and production work. He is one of the most
talented fiddlers in Ireland today.

Paul Finn
- from Co. Laois, is a rising young star of
button accordion playing in Ireland. Known for his
pulsating and rhythmic performance style, his playing
features in major international touring productions,
as well as in the session scene.

Damien Stenson
- from Co. Sligo, is noted for his extensive repertoire and flowing style of playing, honed by years of musical activity. Featured on a number of albums including the compilation 'Wooden Flute Obsession', his presence brings the melodic element and more specifically the flute, to greater prominence within the téada soundscape.

Seán McElwain
- from Monaghan, brings a strong string dimension to téada through his energetic contributions on guitar and bouzouki. Touring performances have seen Sean gain accolades from many quarters for his accompainment skills.

Tristan Rosenstock
- is from Glenageary in Co. Dublin. Tristan's bodhrán playing encompasses a distinctive sensitivity, evident on the recordings and tours with which he has had involvement in recent years. Prominent in Dublin musical circles in recent years, Tristan has completed studies in Irish and Old Irish at Trinity College.
