| The Last Chance Cafe is hosted by Sheila and Jim Brann Concerts are usually once a month from September through May. Our basement area which holds 45 to 50 people comfortably. PLEASE: RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED! Click the link or call us! BYO refreshments and, if possible, enough to share! There is usually a jam session afterwards, so instruments are welcome. Concerts start at 8:00 PM Parking is on the street, but there is a small parking lot about 1 block away with easy access to our property. All monies collected, as well as any CD sales go to the performer(s). Additional contributions over the listed admission are a great way of saying, "Thank You" to our performers! | Self-taught, Christine Havrilla wins crowds over wherever she goes with her musical innovation, heartfelt lyrics, and sparkling personality, and her guitar a mere extension of herself. Her music and sound are difficult to fit into one category, hence Christine describes it as "Neofunkadelicfolkpoptwangrock!" She lives up to the moniker bestowed upon her by Dena Marchiony of the Philadelphia Songwriters Project, "the quintessential pop-rock goddess." Philadelphia Magazine simply states, "She rocks!" |
