| The Last Chance Cafe is hosted by Sheila and Jim Brann Concerts are usually once a month from September through May in our basement area which holds 45 to 50 people comfortably. PLEASE: RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED! Click the link or call us. BYO refreshments and, if possible, enough to share! There is usually a jam session afterwards, so instruments are welcome. Concerts start at 8:00 PM Parking is on the street, but there is a small parking lot about 1 block away with easy access to our property. All monies collected, as well as any CD sales go to the performer(s). Additional contributions over the listed admission are a great way of saying, "Thank You" to our performers! | Full Frontal Folk (or, "Da' Gurlz") have been raised in the music community and have lived up to and far surpassed the expectations of those of us who watched them grow up. All daughters of Folkies, their musical talents have been honed by their various immersions in the folk community and their harmonies do full justice to their materials. All are talented musicians and singers who will astound and delight you with incredibly complex harmonies as well as simple duets, some very hot fiddling and tasty guitar work. Their music runs the gamut from traditional to contemporary and a few places we're still trying to define. When joined by their "captive" percussionist (Desdemona) the sound really fills out and takes over whatever venue they may be playing. Just an outtasight show and great performers! We note that Jezebel departed the group in April to explore other musical and personal paths and we wish her all the best in those pursuits. We will miss her setting off the airport magnetometers! As a trio or a quartet (Fatale has possibly contributed the next Frontal, Iris Fuhr Allen, born Aug 13th!) they are a genuine delight to both see and hear; we guarantee this will be an evening you will neither quickly nor easily forget! {NOW we hear that Delilah is contributing TWINS in December! What next? Desdemona, is there something you want to tell us?} They have two CD's available and either or both are a superb choice for your listening pleasure.
