| The Last Chance Cafe is hosted by Sheila and Jim Brann Concerts are usually once a month from September through May. Our basement area which holds 45 to 50 people comfortably. PLEASE: RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED! Click the link or call us! BYO refreshments and, if possible, enough to share! There is usually a jam session afterwards, so instruments are welcome. Concerts start at 8:00 PM Parking is on the street, but there is a small parking lot about 1 block away with easy access to our property. All monies collected, as well as any CD sales go to the performer(s). Additional contributions over the listed admission are a great way of saying, "Thank You" to our performers! | Trying to find something nice to say about The KENNEDYS isn't the problem... it's trying not to sound like a babbling idiot that's the hard part. These singer-songwriters are among the most engaging and prolific of any duo (or trio!) on the scene today and an evening spent with them is like the proverbial "breath of fresh air". (See what I mean? Babbleosity sets in almost at once!) Original and immediate, their performances will leave you wishing the evening had about ten more hours to go. Their songs are poignant without being saccharine, on-target without being wounding and always show their love and respect for not only each other but for the world and all it's foibles and triumphs. Come out and see them... it'll be a wonderful experience and you can pick up their latest CD, "Half A Million Miles"! |
