Michael Cavendish  (1565 -1628)

Coming from what is still one of the most beautiful villages
in England, ‘Michaell’, gentleman of Cavendish, Suffolk, 
dedicated his eight joyful madrigals to his cousin Lady 
Arabella Stuart. They are really a set of musical love letters. 

(Except "Come, Gentle Swains", which was part of "The Triumphs 
Of Oriana", celebrating a birthday for Elizabeth I.)
